Kitty, I love the in-your-face joy and vivacity of this painting. The dark background was definitely a plus. So much energy.
I actually did this painting over a year ago but was unhappy with the background. It was a very hot coral. I reworked it and added a dark but wild sort of look. I think the whole thing came alive. ..."it's a wild thang"
