HIDDEN PATH

This is an image I photographed (and painted later) while riding in my husbands golf cart. He was playing at "Origins," a course on the West Coast of Florida. I loved the billowing pink plumes and the invitation to follow the path into those wonderful grasses.

  1. One thing I don't like about the mechanism for posting comments is that I want to actually be looking at the painting as I write. There is, indeed, so much of the invitation in this painting. Such fullness and even intrigue. Have you read the seven Chronicles of Narnia - CS Lewis? In the last book the phrase is used - farther in and further up - into more and more of the fullness and reality of God, Himself - this phrase comes to mind when I look at this painting.
