This is Grace. Our 6 year old Golden Retriever. In September of 09' Grace was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma. Cancer of the blood vessels. She was given 4-6 months to live. We are now entering the 10th month and we are so incredibly grateful. I wanted to paint her the way I see her, full of love and wonder. Grace is a joy and delight and a precious addition to our family.

GRACE IRENE

ReplyDeleteI would love Grace from this painting alone. Even if I didn't know your love for her and your relationship with her. God has so gifted us with our canine and feline friends. True friends, indeed. Companions who see into the very heart of our souls. And who love us - God loving us through them - with no reservation of any sort. I am weeping as I write this. Please God - for Grace to just go to sleep at some time selected by God and to leave this earthly home for His home.
